Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Gosugi LLC ("Gosugi," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Gosugi website (gosugi.com) and our software products and services, including ThatOneTime (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

We aim to collect only the information needed to provide and improve our Services. Depending on how you use them, this may include:

  • Account information — such as your name and email address, when you create an account or sign in to one of our products.
  • Content you create — information you enter into our products, such as trip and event plans, itineraries, notes, checklists, and photos you upload.
  • Contact information — details you provide when you email us or otherwise get in touch.
  • Usage and device information — basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and general usage patterns, collected to keep the Services reliable and secure.

Our public website, gosugi.com, is a static informational site and does not require an account or collect personal information through forms.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
  • Enable core features, such as syncing a shared plan across the members of a trip or event;
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support;
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Services and prevent abuse;
  • Improve and develop new features; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only in these limited circumstances:

  • Within your group — content you add to a trip or event in ThatOneTime is visible to the other members of that trip or event, and to anyone you choose to share a read-only link with. You control who is invited, and read-only links can be revoked.
  • Service providers — trusted third parties that host our infrastructure and help us operate the Services, bound by confidentiality obligations and permitted to use the data only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Our products are built with privacy in mind — data is gated to the people it belongs to, and we collect only what a feature genuinely needs to work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information, and you may request that we delete personal data we hold about you, subject to legal limits. To make a request or ask a question about your data, email us at info@gosugi.com.

Children's privacy

Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
