ThatOneTime
A mobile-first, real-time shared trip and event guide — built and operated by Gosugi LLC.
One shared, living guide everyone can see — live, on every phone.
Planning a trip with friends or family means a pile of group texts, screenshots, PDFs, and half-remembered reservations — and the second the trip starts, all of it goes stale. ThatOneTime collapses that mess into one mobile-first app the whole group shares and edits together, with every change appearing instantly on everyone's phone.
- Real-time sync — an edit on one phone is on every phone
- Works for both group trips and events
- Installs like an app — full-screen, no app store required
- Private by default, with revocable read-only share links
What's inside
Everything a group needs to run a trip together, in one live-synced app.
The whole plan, live on every phone.
Opens to the current day automatically — home base, a tap-to-navigate address, the weather, and the day at a glance. The shared itinerary lets anyone reorder activities, move them across days, edit times and notes, and weave in flights and drives. Everyone sees edits the instant they happen.
Find places, then relive them together.
Browse curated places — restaurants, wineries, beaches, sights, day trips — filterable by area, category, and "kid picks," and drop any of them onto any day. As the trip happens, the shared Memories album fills up automatically, grouping photos by day and location so everyone's shots live in one place.
An end-of-trip story worth keeping.
When the trip ends, ThatOneTime auto-assembles a shareable highlights recap — a cover, the numbers (days, places, photos, travelers), and a day-by-day summary of where you went and the moments you captured. It's a link you can send to family who weren't even there. A shared "must book ahead" checklist with tap-to-call keeps everything reserved along the way.
Why it's built this way
ThatOneTime is a Progressive Web App — installable, offline-friendly for your loaded plan, and delivered over the web with no app store.
Real-time, always
An edit on one phone is on every phone — no "which version is current?" The whole group shares one live plan.
Readable in a dead zone
Once the trip is loaded, the current plan is cached on-device and still shows if the signal drops. Sign-in, edits, and new photos need a connection.
Private by default
Each trip is gated to its members, with revocable read-only links for everyone who just wants to follow along.
